The Final Chapter

And so we come to the final chapter in the trilogy of Lexie and her clogging crew. They took Lagoon by storm last Saturday and came away with another first place ribbon. It was a great way for them to finish out their performances and we had fun watching her.

Fun in the sun

We were outside cleaning up a few things in our backyard, and of course Jaden wanted to be part of the fun. Stacie stood him up on the grass, and he was fascinated by it. Lexie wanted nothing to do with the grass the first time that she sat on it, but Jaden loved it. We sat him down and he grabbed handfuls of grass to steady himself, proud as can be. He's almost five months old now...hard for us to believe!

This picture was taken Saturday morning for Daddy. Jaden is getting to be such a big boy, he's 4 1/2 months old now!

KFC Adventure

Last week KFC offered a free piece of their new "Grilled chicken" so we decided to take a trip with the family to try the new chicken (since we are huge fans of the KFC original recipe). While we were waiting for our chicken their was a man in the corner, Pirate Bob, that was making balloon characters for kids. Fortunately for Lexie she was the only kid (besides Jaden) in the restaurant. She quickly made friends with Pirate Bob and scored herself 2 flower balloons with monkeys hangin on and a parrot on her shoulder to match Pirate Bob's. It was so cute I couldn't resist taking pictures.
